Terms of Service

Rates

All rates quoted are subject to availability and alteration. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Millbank management does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions of the house and associated services.

Cleaning and other damage

Guests are requested to leave Millbank clean on departure. Cleaning services that may be required upon departure will be charged at €150 per day to your credit card.

Any damage or loss that is not rectified before departure will be billed to the client or charged to their credit card. Any dispute about damage and/or refunds must be addressed to the owner.

Swimming pool usage

Swimming pool rules, which are provided in Millbank’s Guest Book must be respected. A small number of towels will be provided free of charge. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the swimming pool area.

Wheelchair accessibility

Please note that Millbank is not wheelchair accessible.

Refund Policy

Deposits / Confirmations

In order to confirm your reservation, we require your credit or debit card details at the time of booking. The total value of your on-line reservation will be applied at the time of your reservation so as to guarantee your booking. Unless otherwise requested, we will email a confirmation of your reservation to your nominated email address.

Cancellation/Refunds

If you cancel your booking more than 30 days from your date of arrival, we will not apply a cancellation charge and we will refund your deposit in full. If you cancel between 30 days and up to 48 hours from your date of arrival, we will refund your deposit less the cost of the first night’s stay. If you fail to cancel your reservation or provide less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation, the entire cost of your reservation will be charged to your credit/debit card.

Once we have confirmed your booking we will do our very best not to make any changes to your booking or to cancel it. Sometimes, however, changes do occur after bookings have been confirmed, and occasionally confirmed bookings have to be cancelled. We promise to do all we can to avoid changes and cancellations but must reserve the right to do so. If we have to cancel we will offer you a full and speedy refund of all monies you have paid to us.

Privacy Policy

The privacy and protection of personal data is treated seriously at Millbank. Our privacy statement following, sets out the data protection practices currently in place within the company. We fully endorse and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Acts 1998 and 2003. Specifically, we state that we will:

  • Obtain and process information fairly.
  • Keep it only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purpose.
  • Use and disclose it only in ways compatible with these purposes.
  • Keep it safe and secure.
  • Keep it accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Ensure that it is adequate, relevant and not excessive.
  • Retain it for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes intended.

The Millbank website is intended to assist you in making a reservation at the house. Apart from printing information in connection with your travel, copyright applies to the Millbank website and as such the un-authorised reproduction, selling, re-selling or otherwise of same is prohibited unless prior written permission to do so has been provided.

Links that feature on the Millbank website are links to other sites which we believe, may be of interest to you. By providing these links we are not endorsing or recommending such sites or the services or material provided by them. We therefore accept no responsibility for the materials, services or other situations at or related to or from any other website.

Accuracy

While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure accuracy of information, the content of the Millbank website may include technical, typographical or content errors. Some of the information and prices shown may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday – and at the time of printing and uploading errors unfortunately can happen. It is important that you make sure you check all details, including the price, at the time of making your booking. As we are always trying to improve services and facilities, sometimes there may be small differences between the holiday accommodation/other services and the description given. Additionally for various reasons outside our control – weather conditions, repairs and maintenance etc. – some facilities or services may become unavailable. As soon as we become aware of any such situation, we will always tell you as soon as possible, if we believe your holiday is likely to be affected. However, we cannot accept responsibility for changes to or closures of local amenities/facilities and attractions etc., referred to in the website, which clearly are not under our control.
